Language Proficiency Test

Return to...
   Employment Opportunities

The Language Proficiency Test has been designed to accurately evaluate the level of understanding of the language from which professionals will be working into their native language.

The Language Proficiency Test is a multiple choice test consisting of 10 questions determined randomly employing a mathematical algorithm. Each question has 5 possible answers numbered 1-5. Select the most appropriate response in the target language and proceed to the next question. The test takes no longer than 10-15 minutes (there is no time limit, however).

Instructions

  • Language Selection
The Native Language drop down box must the language you will be working into, with the Learnt Language drop down box the language you will be translating from. For example, if you want to work from Japanese (learnt language) to English (native language), then select Native Language (English) and Learnt Language (Japanese).

Please select the correct language combination to ensure that you will be working into your native language. An incorrect selection will require a re-testing in the correct combination.

  • BACK or REFRESH Button
Each selection is final, and can not be changed employing the browser BACK or REFRESH button after being submitted. The test can be taken as many times as required.

  • Browser Language and Character Set
The language encoding (language and character set) for the Learnt Language needs to be enabled on your browser. Unicode UTF-8 is employed.

Good luck!
